Andrea Lost 26 Pounds Without Exercise on the 30 Day Clean Eating Challenge!
Hi! My name is Andrea 🙂
I’m a 50 year old wife and mother from Northern Virginia.
Over the past 10 years I’ve struggled with weight gain. I’ve tried everything from Nutrisystem to Jenny Craig (three separate times), but as soon as I went off their “plan” the weight always piled back on.
The plans weren’t sustainable and I never truly experienced a lifestyle of freedom from dieting. Turning 50 last fall made me take a hard look at my overall health (and weight). I knew I had to do something, but it had to be sustainable.
When I found CleanFoodCrush and the 30 Day Clean Eating Challenge on Facebook last winter and I just “watched” it for a while. I took time to determine if this was for me. Eventually after seeing all of the support, healthy recipes (like these Shrimp Fajitas!) and transformations flooding in, I decided I was ready.
I joined the January 2017 Challenge and met some great ladies with common interests, including a love of wine!
I did well on the 30 day challenge and lost about 12 pounds, but I could not stop – I kept going!
Three and a half months later, I’m down nearly 26 pounds and I feel great! I could not have done this without CleanFoodCrush. The support, encouragement, and information has been a life saver!
People keep asking me if I am exercising; not at all. My weight loss success has been 100% through clean eating!
My best advice to anyone new to clean eating is – do the 30 Day Clean Eating Challenge and find accountability partners! There’s so much support in the private group and the recipes are simple yet so good 🙂
