Meet Shenna, Who Lost over 13 Pounds and 12 Inches in 30 Days With CleanFoodCrush!
Hi, I am Shenna from Maine. I am a mom to two amazing teens. I work in early childhood education as an Education Coach. I love the ocean and exploring new places.
The past few years have been tough for me. I went through a Divorce, had Brain Surgery, and then… COVID hit.
I put on more weight and just felt horrible. I have always been proud of how resilient, hard-working, and reflective I am – but I tried numerous diets to lose the weight and was left beating myself up and reaching for a quick fix that was gratifying in-the-moment – sweets & processed foods!
I came to a point that I just wanted to feel better, so I invested in the 30-Day Challenge.
I looked up a few quotes to read and phrases for every time I had thoughts of “This is too hard” or “I can’t do it” or “It’s not fair” and “I just want sweets”.
I replaced those negative thoughts with:
- “Losing Weight is Hard, Being Overweight is Hard, Choose Your Hard”
- “I Deserve to Feel Good”
- “Through Courage and Hard Work, I Can Achieve Anything”
- “My My Body Deserves Good Health”
I stayed active on the CleanFoodCrushg Facebook page. I read all of the amazing tips that the CFC team sends, I was honest with myself and others.
I realized this wasn’t a diet – it was taking back control of my habits, choices, and eating healthy food, in a healthy way.
These 30 Days have been the pathway to taking care of my mind & body! I am not where I want to be yet but I am so grateful that I am not where I was 30 days ago, thanks to CFC!
